Path Construction is seeking a qualified Project Manager to join our organization in the Phoenix, AZ area. We are a rapidly growing commercial general contractor with offices in Arlington Heights, IL; Charlotte, NC; Knoxville, TN; Tampa, FL and Dallas, TX, with projects throughout the country.
The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of project management experience in commercial construction, along with strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a sharp attention to detail. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a project team in the successful delivery of the project.
- Manage the day-to-day activities of subcontractors and suppliers.
- Oversee contract administration and procurement for assigned projects.
- Prepare and manage project estimating, pay requests, and change orders.
- Process and respond to requests for information (RFIs) in a timely manner.
- Maintain cost control and monitor the project budget throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop, update, and manage the project schedule.
- Track submittals and ensure conformance with project specifications.
- Enforce jobsite safety controls and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain and deliver a high level of quality on all project deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of project management experience in commercial construction.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a project team, including subcontractors and suppliers.
- Strong working knowledge of contract administration, procurement, and cost control.
- Experience with Primavera, Microsoft Project, and/or Procore.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Estimating experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Strong knowledge of construction safety standards; OSHA 30-Hour Certification is a plus.
- Valid driver's license with a positive motor vehicle report.
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 lbs.
