2025 Dive In Sydney.

REMOTE
Our Dive In program offers insight into commercial law at a top tier firm and the opportunity to develop practical skills to help you get a head start in your career. About us Allens is a leading international law firm with a proud 200-year heritage of shaping the future for our clients, our people and the communities in which we work. From playing a pioneering role in the development of legislation and regulatory frameworks in the Asian region, to acting on numerous 'firsts' across a range of industry and community issues, it is in our DNA to make a difference and help shape what our world looks like. Our alliance with Linklaters connects our clients and teams with an international network of legal leaders that spans 41 offices in 26 countries, and opportunities for our people to build international careers. We have been recognised as a top law employer by Prosple and GradConnection and the Australian Financial Review. In 2024 we were ranked the highest law firm in the AAGE Top Graduate Employers for the fifth year running (and number three across all Australian organisations with graduate intakes of 70+). Dive In with Allens As a Dive In participant, you'll learn about who we are and the work we do. During the program, you will: meet with and gain valuable insights from our partners and lawyers about their careers and life at Allens; attend tailored workshops directed towards developing skills essential for a successful career as a commercial lawyer; hear practical tips and tricks for preparing for work in the early stages of your career; and learn about our clerkships and life as a graduate at Allens, and so much more! When and where? The program will be held across the following three half-days in our Sydney office: Monday, 12 May (9am – 1pm); Monday, 19 May (9am – 1pm); and Monday, 26 May (1pm – 5pm). Please note dates and times are subject to change and we will notify successful participants as required. Who can apply? Applications are welcome from law students in their pre-penultimate years of a law degree (i.e. second- to third-year undergraduate law students or first-year JD students). How to apply? Please submit an application via the 'apply now' button below by 9.00am (AEST) on Monday, 14 April 2025. Please note that while we offer the program in each of our Australian offices, you can only submit an application for one office – please only apply to your preferred office.
