Electrical Construction Leadership Lead electrical construction management activities at the assigned site, including coordination of contractors, vendors, Electrical Site Engineers, design consultants, QA/QC, HSE, utility provider, and commissioning representatives. Electrical Installation Oversight Oversee installation of incoming power systems, MV/LV switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS systems, batteries, busway, cable trays, conduits, distribution boards, lighting, grounding/earthing, ELV/ICT pathways, and related electrical infrastructure. Permanent Power and Utility Interface Coordination Coordinate utility interfaces, point-of-entry readiness, permanent power turn-on requirements, energization sequence, electrical inspections, authority requirements, testing prerequisites, and power-readiness trackers. Critical Power System Coordination Coordinate normal, critical, and redundant electrical pathways to ensure resilience, maintainability, access, safety, and alignment with the data center power architecture. Electrical Room and Equipment Layout Coordination Confirm electrical room layouts, access zones, ventilation requirements, fire ratings, egress, cable entry, arc flash clearances, grounding, maintenance replacement routes, and equipment handling paths. Cable Pathway and Containment Coordination Coordinate vertical and horizontal electrical pathways including busway, cable tray, conduit, sleeves, risers, penetrations, and containment routes with C&S, mechanical, fire protection, architectural, and security systems. Design Coordination and Technical Clarification Work with the DSCO Electrical Design Coordination Engineer to review and close electrical RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, field changes, design clarifications, material approvals, technical queries, and equipment data. MEP and Interdisciplinary Interface Management Coordinate electrical works with mechanical cooling systems, civil/structural works, fire protection, controls, BMS/EPMS/DCIM, security, telecom, ELV/ICT, architectural finishes, and commissioning requirements. Electrical Quality Control Review and monitor inspection and test plans, witness points, hold points, NCRs, punch lists, deficiency closure, material inspections, installation records, testing records, and electrical quality documentation. Electrical Schedule and Look-Ahead Planning Support two-week, six-week, and milestone look-ahead planning for electrical installation, long-lead equipment delivery, room readiness, containment completion, energization, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and IST requirements. Long-Lead Electrical Equipment Tracking Monitor procurement, delivery, storage, preservation, installation readiness, factory test status, site acceptance, and vendor support for major electrical equipment such as switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS, batteries, busway, and controls equipment. Testing and Energization Readiness Track electrical testing prerequisites including insulation resistance, continuity, torque checks, grounding tests, protection relay settings, functional checks, interlock testing, controls integration, load bank readiness, energization permits, and authority approvals.
