ABOUT THE ROLE Embark on a journey - Caring for others is truly a calling. Utilise your warm & caring approach to make a meaningful difference to the lives of older people. Home Care Workers provide services to our customers who live in their own homes. You will provide high quality care and support services in accordance with the individual needs and wishes of each older person and, in doing so, you will enable them to remain living at home independently. As a Home Care Worker, you will provide excellent customer service. You will follow the tasks as directed per the Support Plan, such as personal care, general housekeeping and assistance. The role is to deliver services with compassion, integrity and dignity. We are looking for proactive, energetic, empathetic individuals based in and around the lower area of Central Coast such as: Umina Beach Woy Woy Erina North Gosford You will undertake the following tasks; You will be providing support to clients with domestic assistance duties such as cleaning, laundry and meal preparation. You will assist clients with personal care support including, showering, toileting and feeding assistance. You will provide assistance to your clients with transportation, e.g. to appointments, shopping and leisure outings. You will build and maintain strong and effective relationships with clients and their families. You will adhere to health and safety guidelines and policies to keep yourself and our clients safe.
