Position Overview The role will be responsible for leading Apollo’s direct origination efforts across the Nordic region. The focus will be on medium and large cap deals but also for building out other direct origination asset classes as appropriate. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as the investment professional for European direct origination in region Manage direct origination and act as the subject matter expert Grow & develop direct origination business Build on existing Financial Sponsor relations in the region in coordination with the rest of the team and Apollo businesses Support cross-platform projects and the development of investment products in the region Qualifications & Experience 8-10 years of experience with experience as an investment professional responsible for directly originated lending Strong knowledge of the Nordics market & originating direct lending in the region Strong network with Financial Sponsor Demonstrates excellent investment judgment, mental agility and decision making Contributes significantly to the team mandate as well as to the broader Credit mandate by identifying investment opportunities across the credit platform Consistently produces a thoughtful, accurate and reliable work product which reflects good product knowledge and technical expertise Demonstrates a strong business focus on expanding Apollo's investment success and market presence in the region Play an active role in sourcing and managing relationships to generate opportunities in the region Direct lending or PE background What Makes Apollo...Apollo Our People Our History Sustainability & Impact Life At Apollo Come to Apollo and join a community of extraordinary people who are committed to a culture of excellence and collaboration in everything that we do.
