Host/Cashiers greet and seat guests pleasantly, quickly, and efficiently with a smile. Monitor door/podium at all times to ensure prompt seating of guests. Answer phones and take reservations. Take payments from Guests and ensure proper cash handling techniques. Ability to communicate with Guests and members of management staff. Must conduct oneself in a manner that reflects a positive professional image. Full time varied shift available. Responsibilities: Greet and seat all guests upon their arrival. Count and ring in all guests. Clean register and entrance area. Seat guests meeting their desire for a booth or a table while taking into account proper station rotation. Manage wait list, taking into account any reservations. Answer phones. Decrease expenses through proper handling of product. Increase revenue through proper upselling of beer, wine, and alcohol. Know, understand and follow all company and departmental policies and procedures. Assist guests with all needs while exceeding their expectations. Keep supervisor informed of all guest concerns and comments at all times. Show willingness to work as part of a team. Ensure guest satisfaction with a positive, courteous, and helpful attitude. Other duties as assigned my management. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel crouch or crawl; talk, and hear. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus. Qualifications: 6 months of previous cash handling experience. Ability to multitask work with the public in a fast-paced environment. Good interpersonal communication skills. Strong attention to detail.
