Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Supervise the daily operations of the Public Area Housekeeping team. Ensure all public areas, including but not limited to: restrooms, entrances, hallways, and exterior spaces are maintained to established cleanliness standards. Manage floor care programs, including carpet care, hard surface maintenance, and specialty cleaning processes. Oversee the safe and effective use of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and snow removal equipment. Schedule, train, coach, and evaluate team members to ensure productivity and service excellence. Conduct performance management activities including coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions when necessary. Coordinate and schedule deep cleaning projects and preventative maintenance programs. Research, evaluate, and implement new cleaning products, supplies, and equipment to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Monitor departmental budgets, labor costs, inventory levels, and operational expenses. Maintain compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and environmental standards. Collaborate with other departments to ensure operational needs and guest expectations are met. Respond to guest and team member concerns in a professional and timely manner. Prepare reports and maintain departmental records as required. Incorporate and use AI to make the PAH department run as efficient as possible. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or management experience in housekeeping, public area operations, or a related hospitality environment. Experience managing staff in a 24/7 operation, including hiring, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and performance management. Extensive knowledge of floor care procedures, surface cleaning techniques, cleaning chemicals, and housekeeping equipment. Experience with snow removal equipment and exterior property maintenance preferred. Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Experience with budgeting, labor management, and financial reporting. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment. Proficiency with scheduling and property management systems is preferred. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as business needs require. Physical Requirements: Ability to walk and stand for extended periods. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to operate housekeeping and snow removal equipment safely.
