Adheres to proper surgical procedures of aseptic technique and safety in the use of instruments and equipment. Maintains an accurate count of sponges, needles, and instruments. Gathers supplies and instruments and assemble before procedures. Ensure that specimens are correctly handled and routed to the proper source. Other duties as assigned Qualifications: High school or GED BLS required Prefers a candidate actively enrolled as a student in an accredited Radiologic Technology program in preparation of registry (ARRT/ARDMS).
