Responsible for preliminary preparation of food items for the following day, as indicated by menu cycles. Ability to read and interpret production tickets. Assists with routine cleaning and sanitation of work areas. Assists with serving food items according to established workflows. Demonstrates competency in knife skills. Demonstrates knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper temperature control. Performs additional duties as needed. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or GED preferred. Experience: One to three years of experience in high-volume food preparation and cooking within a hotel, restaurant, cafeteria, catering company, government facility, or private institution.
