X-Ray Tech Experience No minimum experience required Education Successful completion of an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) approved educational program Certification Summary American Registry of Radiologic Technologists credential in Radiography (R) Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment MRI Tech Experience Six months of supervised clinical experience in MRI Education Successful completion of an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) approved educational program Successful completion of accredited Magnetic Resonance (MR) program and eligible for MR credential via ARRT (MR) Certification Summary American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) credential in Radiography (R), American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT), or Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) Credential in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) required no later than 12 months post hire.
