The Master Data Management (MDM) Specialist is responsible for the creation, maintenance, validation, and governance of master data across business systems. The role ensures data accuracy, consistency, compliance, and integrity to support operational efficiency and business decision-making. Key Responsibilities Data Management Create, update, and maintain master data records in ERP and business systems. Process requests for customer, vendor, material, product, pricing, and organizational data. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data entered into systems. Review and verify requests against established data governance standards. Data Quality & Compliance Perform regular data quality audits and corrections. Identify duplicate, incomplete, or inaccurate records and implement corrective actions. Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and data governance procedures. Maintain documentation of master data processes and changes. Stakeholder Support Serve as the primary point of contact for master data-related inquiries. Coordinate with business users, operations teams, finance, procurement, and IT regarding data requirements. Provide support and guidance on data standards and procedures. Process Improvement Recommend enhancements to master data processes and controls. Participate in projects involving ERP implementation, business process improvement, and system upgrades.
