Negotiate with suppliers on pricing, lead time, and delivery commitments to support production and business requirements.
Manage purchase orders and closely follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment activities based on demand signals.
Maintain accurate purchasing, delivery, and inventory records in the system.
Coordinate with purchasing teams across XP Group factories for material allocation, exchange, and alignment.
Analyze supplier capacity, market conditions, and lead time trends to identify and mitigate material supply risks.
Support material control and cross-functional teams by providing timely and accurate updates on material status and delivery issues.
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly data reviews to support purchasing and inventory decisions.
Act as a key communication bridge between suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment.
- Collecting/consolidating data from various sources and organizing them into usable formats.
- Using statistical tools to derive meaningful information/insights from raw business data and analyzing data to find answers to specific questions.
- Creating data visualizations and reports for other stakeholders to comprehend business facts and trends to make better decisions.
Participate in and support company initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related discipline.
More than 5 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain, preferably in EMS, electronics, or a high-mix manufacturing environment.
Experience working with suppliers on pricing, delivery, and lead time management.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP experience is an advantage).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess supply risks and make data-driven decisions.
Good communication skills; ability to work effectively with regional and cross-functional teams.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with any of Power BI and Power Query, Data Model, DAX, Visual Reporting is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to model and interpret data.
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin is a huge advantage due to heavy correspondence with China suppliers.
