Freese and Nichols is looking for a Traffic Engineer in the Greenville, Columbia, or Raleigh offices. As a Traffic Engineer, you will support traffic studies and analyses that inform transportation planning and design decisions for public-sector clients. You will work alongside experienced engineers and planners while continuing to develop your technical expertise. What You’ll Do Perform traffic impact analyses, operational studies, and safety evaluations Develop traffic models, forecasts, and supporting documentation Assist with agency coordination and technical reviews Support senior engineers and planners on transportation projects Ensure work meets quality standards and regulatory requirements Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline Professional Engineer (PE) license 4+ years of traffic engineering experience Preferred Experience with traffic analysis software Exposure to DOT or public-sector transportation projects About Freese and Nichols At the heart of our culture is our LEADS values (Learn continuously, Engage as family, Act with integrity, Deliver quality, and Serve always).
