Summary: Support production and engineering by ensuring products meet specifications. Experience with machining, blueprint interpretation, and proficiency in operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)is highly valued. Position Responsibilities: Inspect products to ensure compliance with technical drawings and specifications. Perform measurements using equipment such as calipers, micrometers, profilometers, roughness testers, visual measurement systems, and others. Conduct measurements using CMM and develop new measurement programs for CMM. Perform tests, analyze results, generate detailed reports, and recommend machining adjustments. Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required: Proficient in reading blueprints. Experienced in using conventional measuring equipment. Proficient with CMM equipment (Zeiss/Mitutoyo preferred). Skilled in MS Office, particularly Excel. Familiarity with machine tools, such as milling machines and lathes, is a plus. Education: HS diploma or AA degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience. Experience: 3+ years in quality control, preferably in manufacturing. Work Environment and Physical Requirements: Manufacturing environment requiring walking, bending, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Prolonged focus on visual tasks, including data entry on a computer and inspections.
