Loula is looking for experienced postpartum doulas in the Oakland area to join our network of independent doula providers.
Accept Medi-Cal and commercial insurance without the paperwork. We handle credentialing, insurance verification, billing, and payment, and pay you twice a month even when a claim is denied. Postpartum doulas can earn about $2,048 per postpartum client they bring themselves and about $1,826 per client Loula refers, when they complete all of the visits the client's plan covers. Actual earnings vary by health plan and number of visits.

🛠 Minimum Qualifications
You'll need:
5 years of experience as a doula, with 3 letters of recommendation OR
If you've trained as a birth/full-spectrum doula, 16 hours of birth/full-spectrum doula training and attendance at 3 births as a doulaa
You'll also need:
Adult and infant CPR training
HIPAA training
Liability insurance
If you don't yet have CPR training, HIPAA training, liability insurance, or the letters of recommendation, you can still reach out! We can support you in getting set up with these requirements.
