  • Evaluate subcontractor and supplier contracts, assessing commercial risk, programme implications, and contractual obligations.
  • Produce accurate cost control reports, including committed costs, forecasts, labour, materials, subcontractor spend, and project preliminaries.
  • Identify, analyse, and mitigate commercial risks in collaboration with the Commercial Director and project team.
  • Assess, prepare, and manage contractual claims and variations.
  • Prepare and present monthly commercial reports and forecasts.
  • Support estimating activities and provide commercial input during tender stages as required.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and key stakeholders.
  • Support the commercial delivery of HV electrical works, ensuring costs, risks, and contractual requirements are effectively managed.

Skills & Experience

  • Third-level Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction, MEP, utilities, power, or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience working on High Voltage (HV) projects, substations, grid connections, power distribution, or major electrical infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost management, procurement, and commercial reporting.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.

Essential Requirements

  • Must have the right to work within the European Union (EU).
  • Willingness to be based on or regularly travel to project sites in the Netherlands.
