Role insights: Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all software assets and licenses across the organization. Ensure compliance with software licensing terms and conditions. Monitor and analyze software usage to identify optimization opportunities. Prepare regular reports on software license status and compliance. Participate in budgeting and cost optimization related to software procurement and renewals. Communicate with software vendors, partners, and internal departments regarding licensing and contracts. Support internal and external audits related to software assets and compliance. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure license compliance during system implementations and upgrades. Develop, document, and implement internal policies and procedures for software asset management. Provide guidance and training to employees on proper software usage and licensing practices. We’ll know you can make it if you have: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. 1–3 years of relevant experience in IT asset management, licensing, or SAM. Understanding of major software licensing models (Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, Autodesk, etc.). Experience with SAM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Snow, Flexera, or similar). Strong analytical and organizational skills. Familiarity with IT process frameworks (ITIL, ISO 19770 is an advantage) . Good command of English (written and spoken).
