Creative Director.

LEADERSHIP$150K–175K/YR

NVE is a brand experience and production agency dedicated to building ideas rooted in culture and guided by the principle that ‘The Right Moment Will Transform Someone Forever.’ NVE’s team of creatives, strategists and producers develop insight-driven ideas rooted in culture to convert consumer attention into commitment, action, and brand loyalty.

Summary of Position:

As Creative Director at NVE, you will define and execute the overall vision for immersive brand experiences created for some of the world’s most iconic, industry-leading clients.

This role is designed for a seasoned, versatile creative leader who pairs sharp instincts with a hands-on approach. The candidate must have deep expertise in high-stakes B2B activations—including impactful keynotes, immersive trade show footprints, and high-touch hospitality dinners. Ideal candidates also bring a rich background in consumer experiences and entertainment projects, with a cross-industry lens that infuses consumer energy, storytelling, and cultural relevance into every environment.

Role Priorities:

  • Establish a creative vision for brand experiences from initial concept through execution, ensuring a cohesive narrative across every touchpoint.
  • Craft engaging, end-to-end attendee experiences.
  • Drive the full RFP lifecycle, from proposal development to client pitches.
  • Independently lead mid- to large-scale experiential projects, taking full accountability for cross-functional workstreams, client pitches, and adherence to workback schedules.
  • Partner closely with production to bridge the gap between initial renders and physical builds, ensuring meticulous attention to detail.
  • Work hand-in-hand with scenic fabricators, external vendors, and production to workshop creative solutions that maximize budget efficiency without sacrificing the essence of the core idea.
  • Direct and empower a multidisciplinary team of creatives, driving excellence through clear, actionable feedback, structured check-ins, and articulating a clear vision.
  • Push creative boundaries on all B2B experiences and continuously inspire the team to try what hasn’t been done before.
  • Stay ahead of emerging cultural trends, design technologies, and incorporate the use of AI tools to continuously sharpen NVE’s competitive edge and creative capabilities.
  • Efficiently manage creative resources, project allocations, and timelines in close alignment with creative leadership to ensure seamless operational delivery.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing studio culture grounded in creative courage, continuous improvement, and inclusion.

Qualifications:

  • Proven portfolio showcasing an exceptional range of work across B2B activations, consumer brand experiences, and interactive digital/demo design.
  • 10+ years of experience managing direct reports and leading multidisciplinary teams within a fast-paced agency or experiential setting.
  • On-site production expertise with a proven track record of real-time problem-solving and quality control during live event execution.
  • Calm leadership style under tight deadlines and high-pressure scenarios, consistently offering proactive, solution-oriented guidance.
  • Strong creative conviction and a decisive perspective, balanced with humility, active listening, and a collaborative approach to feedback.
  • Passionate mentor dedicated to developing talent.
  • Alignment with NVE’s core values: demonstrating courage, commitment, curiosity, catalysis, and strong citizenship in every aspect of work.
