About the role

The Financial Analyst supports the Finance Manager and broader finance team with daily financial controlling, product costing, accounting accuracy, and routine financial reporting across the local site in Poland, while providing analytical support for operations in France and Germany. • Month-End Close & Compliance: Support the Finance Manager in executing the month-end close process under US GAAP and Local GAAP, performing General Ledger postings, routine balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, fixed asset accounting, and intercompany settlements.

  • Audit & Statutory Support: Help gather documentation for local statutory compliance, statutory audit preparation, and local tax reporting alongside external advisors.

  • Planning & Business Support: Assist with data collection and entry for annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and rolling projection processes, supporting basic financial modeling for local business cases, CAPEX requests, and cost-saving initiatives.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline (pursuing professional qualifications such as CIMA or ACCA is a plus).
  • 3+  years of experience in accounting, controlling, or financial analysis, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Skills you need to succeed:

  • Foundational understanding of product costing, inventory accounting, and general accounting principles (Local GAAP, IFRS, or US GAAP), combined with proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, core formulas, data management) and exposure to ERP systems (e.g., MS Dynamics, Oracle, SAP) or corporate reporting tools (e.g., HFM).
