About the role

As Senior Engineer, Supply Chain (SCM), you will lead and develop GxP compliance within Supply Chain Management in Sweden, combining ownership of quality processes with hands-on work in documentation, validation and continuous improvement.

Your scope covers inbound deliveries, the storage and handling of starting materials, consumables, work in progress and finished products, and distribution to internal and external customers. You will help ensure that SCM processes meet applicable GxP requirements and that compliance activities are planned and completed in line with business needs.

Working closely with colleagues across functions, customers and service providers, you will turn regulatory requirements into clear, practical ways of working. You will report to the Head of Supply Chain Management and regularly communicate progress, priorities and compliance risks.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and develop GxP compliance for SCM Sweden, monitor regulatory developments and implement improvements to processes and ways of working.
  • Own SCM GxP documentation, coordinating and performing updates, developing new documents and reviewing logbooks to keep records current, clear and easy to follow.
  • Own, coordinate and carry out SCM activities in the quality management system (QMS), and act as a key user for documentation, deviations, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and change control systems.
  • Act as the SCM lead for internal and external audits, taking ownership of corrective and preventive actions and ensuring they are implemented where needed.
  • Lead and execute validation and qualification activities, own the validation master plan and ensure planned activities are carried out.
  • Own the SCM Sweden maintenance plan and ensure that activities are completed on time. Follow up with cleaning service providers to ensure cleaning is effective and meets required standards.
  • Lead GxP onboarding for new employees and complete required training within agreed timelines.
  • Identify and initiate projects that simplify processes, improve efficiency and strengthen GxP compliance across SCM Sweden.
  • Plan and schedule GxP activities in line with business priorities, identify dependencies across departments and coordinate with internal and external customers and service providers.
  • Document and report progress regularly to the Head of Supply Chain Management and escalate GxP compliance risks to the appropriate level.

Requirements

Requirements and experience

  • Experience working in a GxP-regulated environment, with a strong understanding of applicable regulations and how to translate them into practical processes.
  • Strong GxP skills and the ability to take ownership of compliance activities, documentation and quality-related tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools, including Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and good general IT skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence, motivate and collaborate across functions and organisational levels.
  • The ability to plan, prioritise and manage competing workloads, meet deadlines and make sound decisions independently.

It is an advantage if you have

  • Experience working in GxP-regulated manufacturing.

Who we are looking for

You are structured, organised and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership. You work independently, follow through on commitments and take a proactive approach to identifying improvements and anticipating risks.

You combine a strong quality and compliance mindset with pragmatic, risk-based judgement. You turn requirements into workable solutions and remain focused when priorities compete.

You communicate clearly and collaborate well with others, building effective relationships across departments and with external partners. You are confident challenging existing ways of working and escalating concerns when needed to protect quality and compliance.
