What you'll do (mostly this...other duties may be assigned):
- Lead and coordinate daily kitchen production activities to ensure efficient food preparation and timely service.
- Prepare and cook menu items according to approved recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards.
- Assist in assigning and directing line cook, prep cook, and stewarding duties during each shift.
- Monitor food quality, taste, appearance, and consistency to ensure adherence to company and brand standards.
- Train, coach, and support kitchen team members on proper food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and sanitation practices.
What we're looking for:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Culinary certification or formal food service training preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible commercial kitchen experience required.
- Previous experience as a Line Cook in a full-service restaurant, hotel, or resort environment preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation standards.
