Job Summary:
- Responsible for driving the creative vision and delivering exceptional design solutions for various projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure the highest quality of design work.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire the design team, providing guidance, mentorship, and creative direction.
- Develop and communicate a clear creative vision for projects, aligning with client objectives and brand guidelines.
- Stay updated on design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to drive innovation and excellence.
- Translate client briefs, project requirements, and brand guidelines into compelling design concepts and visual solutions.
- Create and deliver high-quality design assets across various mediums, including digital, print, packaging, and experiential design.
- Ensure design consistency and adherence to brand standards throughout all deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative strategists, copywriters, and marketers, to develop integrated design solutions.
- Communicate and present design concepts to clients and internal stakeholders, incorporating feedback and insights.
- Work closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery of design projects within budget and scope.
- Conduct research and gather insights on target audiences, market trends, and competitor analysis to inform design decisions.
- Apply user-centered design principles to create intuitive and impactful user experiences.
- Use data and analytics to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of design solutions and iterate as needed.
- Develop and evolve brand identities, logos, and visual systems that reflect client objectives and resonate with target audiences.
- Create comprehensive brand guidelines and design templates to ensure consistent application across all touchpoints.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their brand values, positioning, and communication goals.
- Maintain a high level of quality and attention to detail in design deliverables, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and visual impact.
- Establish and enforce design standards and best practices within the team and across the organisation.
- Conduct design reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior designers to support their professional growth.
- Responsible for using and maintaining the filing system of the company at all times and in line with existing policies.
- Undertaking any necessary duties to ensure a first-class service is provided always.
- Being an ambassador for the business always.
Qualifications, Competency & Skills Required:
- A Bachelor’s degree.
- Proven experience as a senior designer or a similar role within a creative agency or design department.
- Expertise in various design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro, MidJourney (Ai tools), Sketch, or other relevant tools.
- Final Artwork Preparation for Error-Free Printing.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of design projects across different mediums and industries.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a design team.
- Exceptional design skills, including a solid understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
- Proficient in utilizing After Effects to animate screen content and create interactive social media creatives/designs.
- Strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop innovative design solutions.
- Effective communication and presentation skills to articulate design concepts and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality design work.
- Passion for creativity, design trends, and a continuous drive for learning and improvement.
- Experienced Microsoft Office user, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Competent Internet, Email and Google applications user.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Office Hours:
08.00 to 17.00 Mondays to Fridays.
