Main responsibilities
1. Business Support & Management Consulting
Business Partnering — Sparring for GM, Operations, Sales
Strategic analyses — profitability, pricing, product mix, scenarios
Potential for success — identification of growth, efficiency and margin levers
Management Consulting — Recommendations, Basis for Decision-making, Business Cases
Performance control — KPIs, dashboards, target systems
Part of the management team — active role in meetings, decisions and priorities
2. Classic Finance Responsibility
Financial controlling — monthly financial statements, forecasts, variance analyses
Accounting Control — Compliance, Audit Readiness
Cash Management — Liquidity, Payment Approvals
Reporting to HQ — complete, undistorted data
Process discipline — SOPs, Policies, Delegation of Authority
Risk Management — Identify risks, escalate them at an early stage
Team leadership — further development of the local finance team
Reporting Lines & Governance
The role reports directly to the MD, with a functional reporting line to the CFO
Functional independence from local operational managers
Active member of the local management team
Obligation to escalate data deviations or political interventions
Professional requirements

Experience in international companies — ideally in matrix organizations or multinational production environments
Tax audit experience — dealing with local authorities, documentation, preparation, risk management
IFRS/Local GAAP
Audit Experience — External and Internal Audits
SAP experience — confident handling of FI/CO, ideally also MM/PP
English and or German
