The Opportunity
Are you an experienced technical support engineer or FAE ready to take the next step into a high-impact leadership role?
We are seeking an After-Sales Technical Support Lead to bridge headquarters R&D with local European operations. In this role, you will lead the regional technical service strategy, oversee critical utility-scale and commercial energy storage projects, and act as the primary technical partner for high-profile clients across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Escalation: Lead the after-sales technical service team, managing complex product failures and providing rapid, high-level support for field issues.
Customer Training & Guidance: Deliver expert technical guidance, hands-on training, and commissioning support to customers during installation and routine operations.
R&D & Product Feedback Loop: Gather field intelligence, customer requirements, and product telemetry to guide R&D for continuous hardware and software improvements.
Quality & Root-Cause Analysis: Lead quality analysis reviews, coordinate the return and investigation of faulty components, and test newly engineered fixes.
Sales Support & Documentation: Support sales teams with technical pre/post-sales insight, deliver internal team training, and maintain up-to-date user manuals and field installation guides.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
Must-Haves:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related STEM field.
Experience: 3+ years in Field Application Engineering (FAE) or technical after-sales support within Energy Storage (BESS), Photovoltaics (PV), or Power Electronics.
Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading project teams or mentoring field engineers.
Languages: Professional working proficiency in English (additional European or Asian languages are a strong plus).
Communication: Outstanding client-facing skills, structured presentation abilities, and a solution-oriented mindset under pressure.
Preferred Experience:
Direct experience in technical support for Commercial & Industrial (C&I) or Utility-Scale energy storage systems.
