Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse Department: Student Life | Student Health Services Student Health Services a department of the Office of Student Life, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works with a multi-disciplinary team of physicians and other health care professionals to provide primary care, ambulatory care, and clinical services to students at The Ohio State University. The LPN serves as one of the primary initial contacts with clinical services; by providing patient care, obtaining patient reason for visit, vital signs, and other clinical information; assists providers with procedures; administers injections and other medication, carries out clinical orders, Intravenous fluids (IV) and documents all information in the electronic health record.
