Update and modernize electrical blueprints for existing legacy equipment. Workshop & Execution (60%) Assemble, mount, and wire electrical control panels from scratch based on your own schematics. Perform mechanical preparation of enclosures and backplates. Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and quality control of the finished cabinets before deployment. Ensure all wiring and assembly comply with current safety standards and industry best practices. Your Profile & Qualifications You hold a Swiss Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training as an Automation Technician (Automaticien CFC). Good working proficiency in English is required. Fluent English is a strong advantage. You must be able to read technical documentation, draft reports, and communicate effectively in English. Experience with AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar electrical CAD software Practical knowledge of Siemens PLC hardware and basic programming. You are autonomous, detail-oriented, and genuinely enjoy the dual nature of doing both intellectual design and meticulous manual work. A Strong Advantage (Bonus): Knowledge of UL standards for electrical devices and industrial control panels (UL 508A, etc.) is a major plus. What We Offer A highly varied role where no two days are exactly the same. The satisfaction of complete project ownership—from CAD to physical commissioning.
