The Software Engineer is responsible for:
- O&S support: to provide operation and support for application maintenance and ensure that SLAs (service level agreements) are met.
- Change Requests: to develop software based on requirements and ensure applications are working to specification, program codes have conformed to standards and are delivered with quality, meeting schedule and requirements.
What will you do:
- Provide Level 2/3 support for SharePoint environments, including troubleshooting and resolving incidents, service requests, and technical issues.
- Monitor system performance, security, and compliance, and implement necessary patches and updates.
- Ensure Response Time and Defect Turn-around Time meet contractual KPI
- Incident Management: Perform troubleshooting and rectification of issue reported
- Problem Management: Conduct root cause analysis & implement pro-active measures
- Service Request: Perform general SharePoint administrative tasks and writing Power Shell scripts as part of service request
- Change Request Assessment: Carry out requirements gathering and assessment on the effort and timeline require for the Change Request based on the requirement provided
- Change Request: Carry out technical design, technical construction, testing, implementation and deployment for the Change Request
- Escalate critical problems to the Group Lead / Project Manager
- Perform standby duties or other urgent duties if required
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Relevant prior experience, knowledge in Sharepoint
- Strong troubleshooting skills and analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
- Possess initiative and disposition with a strong commitment and orientation towards results and high-quality standards
- Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivator with a positive attitude and with high energy
- Willingness to pick up new skills
