The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Drive new business by owning the full sales cycle, from finding prospects through live and digital outreach to negotiating and closing agreements with senior decision makers. You will also contribute to how the commercial team organizes its selling process as it expands.
What you'll do
- Generate new leads through in-person industry events, building rapport on the spot and booking meetings live.
- Supplement event prospecting with digital outreach, including email sequences, cold calling and social selling.
- Lead consultative sales conversations with senior executives alongside company leadership.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from first contact to signed agreement, negotiating and closing with real autonomy.
- Contribute ideas and structure to the team's selling methods and processes during a period of headcount growth.
- Travel to industry events within an assigned territory to network and build pipeline in person.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- Around 1 to 5 years of experience in a client-facing role such as sales, consulting or expert networks.
- Proven ability to build relationships in person and prospect live at conferences and networking events.
- A background of selling to, or working as an advisor for, senior executive leaders.
- Track record of generating pipeline through outbound channels such as cold calling, email and LinkedIn.
- Executive presence and credibility with senior leaders, paired with a concise communication style.
- Based in New York City and able to work in the office 5 days a week.
- Willingness to travel to roughly 15 conferences per year.
