Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with project stakeholders, including internal teams, vendors, and external partners.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively to the Programme Manager and relevant stakeholders.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to drive project progress and resolve issues.
  • Risk & Issue Management:
  • Proactively identify, assess, and manage project-level risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies.
  • Escalate critical issues to the Programme Manager in a timely manner, providing clear recommendations for resolution alongside other options considered.

Quality & Change Management:

  • Ensure project deliverables meet defined quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
  • Manage project change requests, assessing their impact on scope, schedule, and budget, and securing necessary approvals.

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Prepare and submit regular project reports, providing accurate and timely updates on progress, budget, and risks.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, meeting minutes, and decision logs.
  • Ensure project closure activities are completed efficiently, including lessons learned and handover of deliverables.

Requirements

Who you are:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager of projects within complex, large-scale Programmes of work.
  • Demonstrable experience managing multiple projects simultaneously within a programme framework.
  •  Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), and tools.
  •  Proven ability to manage project scope, schedule, budget, and resources effectively.
  •  Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across various teams.
  •  Proactive problem-solver with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
  •  Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  •  Experience in the marine, engineering, technology, or other similarly complex industries is highly desirable.
  •  Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Agile PM, PRINCE2, CSM) are highly advantageous.
