Position Overview Team Overview Apollo Global Engineering is seeking Summer Analysts to contribute and impact tomorrow’s Technology. As a member of our growing Engineering team, you will help transform how the firm operates. You will partner with investment professionals to streamline day-to-day activities and build more efficient workflows, and collaborate with other technology teams and subject matter experts (SMEs) to deliver end-to-end solutions. Our Summer Program Our 10-week Summer Program provides full immersion into the small, dynamic teams that drive Apollo’s innovative investment strategies and access to an unparalleled apprenticeship learning experience. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Your responsibilities will include: At Apollo, we work as one team, partnering across regions and disciplines to share the perspectives and insights that lead us to exceptional opportunities. You’ll partner with junior and senior level professionals on a range of projects across the team. You’ll also Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives Design, develop, test, and deploy features and enhancements that deliver meaningful impact to active projects Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and contribute to documentation Translate business requirements into technical solutions with guidance from senior engineers and product owners Troubleshoot and resolve defects, and help improve the performance and reliability of existing systems Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automation, and engineering best practices Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, testing, debugging, and documentation, while applying sound judgment to validate and review all AI-generated output Explore opportunities to apply AI and automation to improve team workflows and business processes Present your work and learnings to the team and leadership at the conclusion of the internship Qualifications & Experience Required Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, software development, computer science, engineering or a related field, with a graduation date in May/June 2028 and an excellent academic record Demonstrated interest in finance and technology through previous internships, jobs, and coursework Very strong and clear communication skills both orally and written Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming Familiarity with version control (Git) and core software development concepts Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Clear written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate in a team environment Eagerness to learn, take ownership, and ask good questions AI Qualifications Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants and tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT) in coursework, projects, or prior work Understanding of the strengths and limitations of generative AI, including the importance of reviewing, testing, and validating AI-generated code Ability to write effective prompts and iterate on outputs to solve technical problems Foundational knowledge of AI/ML concepts (e.g., LLMs, APIs, or basic model workflows) is a plus Interest in applying AI to improve engineering productivity and real business use cases Preferred Experience with SQL and relational databases Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), REST APIs, or front-end frameworks such as React or Angular Prior internship, co-op, or relevant project experience Interest in investing, markets, or the technology that supports them ABOUT APOLLO Apollo is a high-growth, global alternative asset manager. The base salary range for this position is : $120,000 This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here. Apollo Global Management, Inc.
