Be part of something extraordinary with Nebraska Medicine! Proton Physicist Description: Serve as Radiation Oncology Medical Physicist to support our Proton Therapy Program. Collaborating with clinical and medical staff on treatment simulation, planning, and the supervision of proton treatment delivery. Responsibilities also include performing equipment QA, coordinating quality and safety programs, working with service engineers, and contributing to clinical research efforts. Required Qualifications: M.S. or Ph.D. in Medical physics or PhD in Physics required. Acquire full ABR Board certification in Therapy Medical Physics within 5 years of employment required. Preferred Qualifications: Minimum two years Proton therapy experience is highly preferred. Experience in treatment planning with RayStation TPS preferred.
