Job Description: The Role The Senior Manager, Data Management Operations, will manage the day-to-day operational activities including oversight of daily workload distribution to ensure helpdesk and project assignments are equitable, challenging, and completed in an accurate and timely manner. The Senior Manager will also work with business partners to resolve complex data inquiries while providing high level of customer service. By working across GDS, technology, customers, business and systems partners, the Senior Manager will plan and prioritize operational projects and manage team efforts end-to-end. Lead day-to-day operations, ensuring data quality, operational efficiency, and risk management. Manage workload distribution, balancing team capacity, priorities, and development opportunities. Partner with business, technology, and operations teams to resolve complex data issues and deliver data solutions. Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and operational controls. Analyze and validate data using database queries to resolve client and operational issues. Represent the team in product forums and industry initiatives to identify emerging trends and opportunities. Manage all aspects of people leadership, including hiring, coaching, and performance The Expertise and Skills You Bring Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. Financial services experience, preferably within reference data, market data, or investment operations. Proven experience leading teams and managing operational or strategic projects. Strong leadership skills with experience coaching and developing teams of 8+ associates. Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive outcomes in a dynamic environment. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Experience with SQL and data analysis tools; Bloomberg and CusipWeb experience preferred. Knowledge of data management, data quality, data modeling, and data visualization concepts. Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex issues for diverse audiences.
