Strong collaboration skills within a diverse, fast-paced team environment. About This Position The Industrial Electrician is vital to ensuring the continuity of our bakery's production processes. This position involves direct ownership of the facility's electrical infrastructure, minimizing manufacturing downtime through rapid troubleshooting and proactive preventive care. Ultimately, your expertise directly impacts the overall productivity and reliability of bakery’s operations. Position Requirements Education & Certifications: Required: High School Diploma or GED. Preferred: Degree or certification in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering. Technical Must-Haves: Proven industrial electrical experience working with 480V systems. Hands-on experience troubleshooting and maintaining PLC & VFD systems. Proven experience troubleshooting complex manufacturing and production equipment. Ability to accurately read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical schematics. Preferred Skills: Experience with PLC programming, logic modification, and industrial system coding. Work Schedule: Shift Flexibility Required: Must be available to work 2nd or 3rd shift schedules. Location: On-site at our Chicago Bakery plant. Salary and Benefits: The hourly wage for this position is $43.69/hour. The position offers healthcare benefits, retirement benefits, and paid time off, in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Some of these benefits have eligibility requirements.
