Your Responsibilities Backend Service Development Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services using Java and modern frameworks like Spring Boot and Micronaut. Microservices Architecture Implement and optimize microservices, leveraging your expertise in distributed systems and ensuring smooth communication using tools like Kafka. Deployment and Infrastructure Deploy and manage containerized services using Docker and AWS ECS, ensuring seamless and efficient deployment processes. CI/CD Expertise Work with a modern CI/CD stack to streamline the development and deployment pipeline. Ownership and Problem Solving Take ownership of technical challenges, propose solutions, and implement them in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. Code Quality and Best Practices Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while following industry standards and best practices. Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code across the team. Troubleshooting and Optimization Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend services to ensure reliability and performance in production environments. Collaborative Teamwork Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver features and improvements in an agile environment. Your Profile Professional Qualifications Education: B.Sc. or comparable in Computer Science or relevant professional experience. Experience: 3 years of proven experience in backend development using Java and microservices frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Micronaut). SAP Hybris knowledge is nice to have. Databases: Proficiency with relational (Postgres, MySQL) and non-relational (Redis) databases. Containerization: Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms, especially AWS ECS. Messaging Systems: Familiarity with Kafka or similar messaging systems for distributed communication. Agile Methodologies: Experience working with agile development practices like Scrum or Kanban. Experience with SAFe is a plus. Software Best Practices: Strong understanding of writing clean, maintainable code and unit testing.
