We are looking for a professional, organised, and detail-oriented Accounting Officer who will become part of our Accounts team and contribute to our commitment to accuracy, compliance and high professional standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Submit and verify data through myDATA.
- Maintain the chart of accounts and accounting software.
- Perform General Ledger and account reconciliations.
- Review accounting entries and transactions.
- Support month-end/year-end closing and internal audits.
- Prepare and submit INTRASTAT, VIES, VAT, and withholding tax returns.
- Support compliance reviews and process improvements.
- Liaise with external auditors.
Requirements
You’ll be a great match if you meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting and/or internal audit.
- Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards and ERP systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
- Experience with myDATA.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Greek.
- Live within 50km of Kavala or be willing to relocate immediately.
