Build partnerships that power our growth.

We're looking for a Carrier Relations Lead to grow and improve the relationships that sit at the heart of our agency's success. If you value turning partnerships into measurable results and you want a seat where you are seen and valued this role is built for you.

Why This Role Matters

Carrier relationships aren't just a back-office function here at Experian. They are a direct engine of new business growth. As Carrier Relations Lead, you'll be the strategic driver behind every carrier partnership, shaping compensation programs, performance visibility, and new business opportunity. You'll report directly to our Senior Director, Insurance Operations, with influence over agency strategy.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES:

  1. Strengthen carrier partnerships: Serve as the primary relationship owner between the agency and carrier partners, ensuring engagement, and strategic agreement.
  2. Guide new business growth: Identify carrier opportunities that directly expand new business sales and agency revenue.
  3. Ensure performance visibility: Deliver accurate, carrier performance reporting that equips leadership to make informed, data-driven decisions.
  4. Maximize compensation value: Improve carrier compensation programs to protect and grow agency profitability.
  5. Promote organizational readiness: Maintain up-to-date carrier training materials and resources so our teams always have accurate, relevant information.

What You'll Do

  • Lead strategic monthly meetings with carrier partners, strengthening relationships that increase agency growth
  • Build and manage annual carrier plans in consideration of agency goals
  • Spot and act on carrier opportunities that convert directly into new business sales
  • Deliver monthly carrier performance scorecards that keep leadership informed
  • Increase carrier compensation programs to protect and grow profitability
  • Keep carrier training materials and resources current, accurate, and ready for the field

What You Bring

  • Five (5+) plus years of relevant P&C insurance experience.
  • Relevant carrier management, agency carrier relations, or a related insurance operations experience.
  • Experience tailoring and present information to audiences
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, prioritizing, and planning resources to meet goals
  • A collaborative mindset and appreciation for a transparent, open, and honest work environment
  • Direct experience working within an insurance carrier organization (underwriting, distribution, or carrier-facing roles)

Education Minimum: 4 Year / bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Tools/Software Requirements:

  • Microsoft Excel (intermediate-to-advanced) for scorecards and performance reporting
  • Microsoft PowerPoint or equivalent for carrier and leadership presentations
  • CRM platform (e.g., Asana) for tracking carrier relationships and opportunities
  • Microsoft Teams, Outlook, or similar collaboration and communication tools
  • Slack environment
