This exciting opportunity is located at our Heredia office. The role is 100% onsite. Key Responsibilities Directs the activities of buyers and expediters to accomplish company objectives. Responsible for the evaluation of vendor reliability; oversees the surveying of vendors to maintain adequate working relationship. Reviews and approves purchases up to a specified dollar amount. Develops policies and procedures for the operation of procurement activities. Monitors the cost, schedule and performance aspects of major subcontracts. Coordinates purchasing activities with engineering and manufacturing departments to maintain inventories at planned levels. Functional Knowledge Works on issues where analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors Business Expertise Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and the process by which to meet goals. Recommends changes to unit or sub-unit policies. Management reviews work to measure meeting of objectives Leadership Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance.
