Summary: Responsible for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory/product line. Duties & Responsibilities: Summary The opportunity arises for VIAVI to hire a Sales Account Manager in South Korea, focusing on Network Enablement (NE) products. This is an individual contributor and sales quota-carrying role. Major Responsibilities Responsible for achieving/exceeding the business goals and sales quota in the assigned area Manage key accounts and develop strong relationships with multiple stakeholders including Service Providers (Communications Networks), distributors, Network Equipment Manufacturers (NEMs), Research Institutions, factories for Optical-related products, engineering, purchasing and senior management Sell into customers through direct sales as well as indirect sales via Channel Partners Perform market analysis of the assigned area and provide up-to-date information on market dynamics including potential opportunities, competitor activities and others for effective sales. Identify and create new sales opportunities with both new and existing customers Maintain and submit an accurate sales forecast for the assigned area using assigned tools such as a CRM. Work closely with BU and regional teams to proactively drive sales opportunities forward Attend trade shows and host seminars to promote VIAVI Solutions In addition, sales account managers may be requested to assist the Sales Director and business unit marketing team with researching new market opportunities and launching new products Pre-Requisites & Experience · Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or communications-related technical training and experience is preferred · At least 5 years of sales experience in technology related industry Good understanding in Communications Test & Measurements instruments with background in Photonics, Ethernet and Optical Network Transport domains Basic technical knowledge in one or more of test instruments like Optical Spectrum Analyzer, Optical Power Meters, Protocol Testers, Multi-Application Platform testers for Optical components and devices manufacturing · Must be fluent in written and spoken English and Korean language · Self-motivated, highly organized with strong time management and multi-tasking skills · Strong teamwork skills · Good presentation and communication skill towards customers. · Being able to work under pressure, in critical situations and under tight deadlines If you have what it takes to push boundaries and seize opportunities, apply to join our team today.
