Support care delivery across the Newport News and Williamsburg orthopedic clinic footprint as a regular part of the APP’s practice. Assist with procedures within the APP scope of practice, which may include injections, splinting/casting support, wound care, suture/staple removal, and other clinic-based interventions as appropriate. Collaborate closely with the supervising orthopedic hand surgeon, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, athletic trainers, therapy teams, imaging services, and the broader Riverside provider network. Coordinate care with hand therapy, rehabilitation services, primary care, urgent care, emergency departments, and specialty providers to support excellent outcomes and patient experience. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, patient access strategies, clinical workflows, and the continued development of a high-quality outpatient hand and upper extremity practice. Maintain a strong commitment to safety, quality, evidence-based practice, patient-centered care, and professional collaboration.
