What You'll Do Craft clarity from ambiguity Drive meaningful product outcomes working closely with Product and Engineering peers Collaborate and communicate design effectively across multiple functions in the organization Ability to influence others and build consensus, while dealing with ambiguity Systems thinker and ability to see the whole ecosystem and provide solutions that better the entire user flow not just the feature Be perceived as a leader in your “squad” that advocates for and applies human-centered design practices What You'll Need High degree of craft for all aspects of product design: user research, prototyping, interaction and visual design Collaborate closely with product owners, engineers and user research to create a vision for your product area and bring others along in your thinking Expert knowledge in design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD Capacity to create innovative end-to-end experiences across multiple channels (including web and mobile) that are grounded in human insight, data and business goals Experience using analytics, user research and other approaches to help make decisions and iterate on the product Experience working with, designing, or maintaining design systems Experience working with distributed teams Experience working with product management and engineering teams Experience leading or facilitating workshops, design sprints, and design studios Location Remote applicants encouraged. The typical hourly pay rate for this position is shown below and is negotiable depending upon experience and location. $62.98 - $97.60 Benefits are available to contract/temporary professionals, including medical, vision, and dental, and life and disability insurance.
