SNC's Military Fellowship Program partners with programs such as SkillBridge and Hiring Our Heroes to provide fellowship opportunities to service members transitioning to the civilian workforce. These fellowships include up to six months of on-the-job industry training for eligible service members. During this time, participants gain valuable work experience in the civilian sector and build professional networks as they prepare for their transition to full-time civilian work. Responsibilities: Develop and execute detailed test plans and procedures for complex systems. Conduct system, sub-system, and component-level testing, including functional, performance, and environmental tests. Analyze test data and provide comprehensive reports on test results. Identify, document, troubleshoot, and facilitate resolution of issues and anomalies. Collaborate with engineering and design teams to refine test requirements and methodologies. Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of test equipment. Generate content and participate in internal/external meetings and briefs. Qualifications You Must Have: Currently serving as ACTIVE DUTY military and be eligible to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program Bachelor's of Science in Engineering or related field. 2+ years of experience in test engineering or a related role. Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience. Proficient understanding of test and evaluation principles and methodologies. Conceptual knowledge of engineering principles and practices. Familiarity working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams. Knowledge of requirements management, system design, and systems integration. Exposure to planning, conducting and documenting Verification and Validation (V&V) activities. Ability to read schematics, use service manuals, follow test procedures, and use logical trouble shooting techniques. Qualifications We Prefer: Experience with various testing equipment, standards, and methodologies to include manual and automated testing. Ability to prepare complex and professional test plans, test procedures, and test reports in order to demonstrate compliance to system requirements. Familiarity with Product and Quality Assurance principles and experienced in generation and disposition of product non-conformances. Experience performing certification testing for various certification organizations (i.e. FAA, NASA, DoD). Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry. Essential Functions: Ability to work on a computer for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly. Occasional travel may be required.
