Infrastructure Engineer
Role summary
Builds and maintains the Terraform estate underpinning the engagement and supports the AWS tenancy relationship, working closely with Platform Reliability on shared infrastructure standards.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain the Terraform estate for the AWS tenancy.
- Provision and maintain non-production environments used for release testing.
- Support environment-level troubleshooting during release windows.
- Align infrastructure standards with Platform Reliability.
- Maintain infrastructure documentation supporting the auditable change-governance record.
Required experience & qualifications
- 3+ years in infrastructure or platform engineering.
- Strong Terraform (or equivalent IaC) and AWS experience.
- Experience supporting release or deployment processes.
- Clear cross-team coordination skills.
Success measures
- Environment provisioning lead time.
- Infrastructure compliance posture.
- Release-window incident rate attributable to environment issues.
