Job Summary Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, Axiom, with the spin planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support Axiom, a company focused on critical digital infrastructure and delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications. To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Building Assembler – Prep for Shipment located in Dallas, TX. Reporting to the Production Manager, the Building Assembler – Prep for Shipment is responsible for preparing buildings and manufactured products for shipment. Work Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM What a typical day looks like: Remove exterior equipment and loose items for shipping Paint/ touch up paint of manufactured items; Board up all access holes Clean and inspect the buildings in preparation for shipment; record and report defects accordingly Review, analyze, and follow various blueprints, diagrams, drawing, procedures, and work instructions to complete assemblies Uses various power tools and hand tools (ex. Drills, impacts, screwdrivers, grinders, etc.) to accomplish assigned tasks Monitor and maintain inventory of necessary supplies, tools, and parts in workstation Perform all other duties as assigned The experience we’re looking to add to our team: High School Diploma or equivalent 1-2 years of related experience in assembly in a manufacturing setting Reading comprehension skills with the ability to interpret and follow written directions, blueprints, wiring drawings, schematics, and engineering diagrams Basic math skills to meet technical specifications and measurements Basic understanding of tools (ex. Tape measure, impact drill, etc.) Demonstrated proficiency with the ability to safety operate powered equipment (forklift, reach truck, scissors lift, overhead crane, etc.) Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of standing, bending, kneeling, and performing repetitive tasks. Must be able to lift, push, pull up to 35 pounds at a time. Must have manual dexterity in order to assemble products or machines as directed.
