Job Description Responsibilities: 1. Develop software for turnkey machine vision system for manufacturing applications using Cognex VisionPro® machine vision software and hardware 2. Evaluate and select lighting and optics to create imaging front end 3. Integrate turnkey machine vision system with robot and automation equipment and make adjustments, troubleshoot and debug system. 4. May need to travel and work in factory environment to install and support machine vision system to make sure all machines are qualified and ready for production according to schedule. 5. May provide supervision to other team members at machine builder sites and contract manufacturer (CM) production sites. 6. Help to prepare Standard Operating Procedures for machine vision setup during overall machine setup and troubleshooting. 7. Communicate with both internal and external customer to establish good working relationship. 8. Provide daily status and progress report and attend update meetings. 9. Capable of providing rapid response, knows when to escalate and obtain help when necessary. 10. Willing to travel according to support need. May require working in a different city/region (including Shenzhen and Shanghai areas). 11. Trouble shooting capability (Simulate one scenary to evaluate). a. calibration issues trouble shooting. b. image acquisition issue. 12. DOE design and data analysis ability, solve the difficult technical problems encountered in the project. 13. Develop vision tool ability, develop universal tools for other engineers to use. 14. Strong programming ability, be able to understand and learn the new technologies in a timely manner. 15. Evaluate vision projects solution ability, can set up calibration schemes and create vision program framework. Qualifications: Education: Master’s degree in engineering field such as: Computer technology, Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent. 工程研究生学历，计算机技术，自动化，电子工程，机械工程等专业 Professional Experience: 1. Solid vision system knowledge and experience 2. Good at C++ or C# or VB 3. 5 or more year’s automation equipment maintenance, trouble shooting and support experience Oversea master graduate with machine vision project experience is warmly welcome 4. Windows programming capability is preferred Personal Qualification: 1. Has “do whatever it takes” attitude to achieve team’s goal 2. Good analytical and problem-solving skills 3. Good communication skill 4. Hard working, resourceful, flexible and work well under pressure 5. Good document/report skill 6. Good English reading and writing skill, good ability of spoken English is preferred 7.
