What You'll Do
- Lead the design and development of scalable, cloud-native applications using TypeScript.
- Drive architecture decisions across multiple engineering teams and services.
- Build highly available, performant APIs and backend systems.
- Partner closely with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership to define technical strategy.
- Champion engineering best practices including testing, observability, security, and code quality.
- Mentor senior engineers and serve as a technical leader across the organization.
- Identify technical debt and develop long-term solutions that improve scalability and developer productivity.
- Lead technical planning for large cross-functional initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Extensive experience building production applications with TypeScript.
- Deep expertise in modern backend architecture, distributed systems, and API design.
- Experience designing and operating cloud-based applications (AWS preferred).
- Strong understanding of scalability, reliability, performance optimization, and system design.
- Demonstrated experience leading large technical initiatives without direct management responsibility.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical direction across teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Node.js and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or containerized deployments.
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures and message queues.
- Experience working in high-growth SaaS organizations.
- Familiarity with logistics, supply chain, or enterprise B2B software is a plus.
