Join the GYG Familia: AM & PM Restaurant Cooks Wanted! 🌯🔥
At Guzman y Gomez (GYG), we don’t necessarily hire on experience—we hire and train for attitude! If you bring a positive attitude, an eager energy, and a desire to learn, we will provide full training to teach you everything else you need to know.
This is a great opportunity for someone who has a genuine passion for fresh food and cooking, and who is hoping to develop their skills in a professional, fast-paced kitchen area!
Whether you are an early bird looking for AM shifts (opening and prep) or a night owl available for PM shifts (closing up to 11:30 PM), we have a spot for you. You must be 16 years or older for the late-night PM closing shifts.
What We Offer
- Full Training Provided: No kitchen experience? No worries. We train you from scratch!
- Skill Development: Learn professional culinary skills, grill operations, and kitchen management.
- Great Work Environment: Work with a high-energy, supportive, and motivated crew.
- Career Progression: Clear pathways to step up into leadership and management roles.
- Flexible Rosters: Great options for both morning lifers and night-shift legends.

What We Are Looking For
- The Right Attitude: Enthusiastic, dependable, open to coaching and ready to learn with a smile.
- Food Passion: A genuine love for fresh ingredients, real cooking, and great flavours.
- Age Requirement: Must be 16 years or older (specifically for PM cooks closing up to 11:30 PM).
