Role Overview
As a Medical Assistant, you play a vital role in delivering quality and compassionate care to our patients. Under the direct supervision of providers and nursing leadership, you¿ll perform a variety of administrative and clinical tasks to support patient care. Your work ensures a seamless and positive experience for patients while assisting providers in delivering exceptional healthcare.

What You Will Do
- Greet and escort patients to exam rooms, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Obtain and record patient medical histories and vital signs accurately.
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, assisting providers as needed.
- Perform administrative tasks to support the efficient operation of the clinical team.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment.
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with completion of a formal clinical externship (160-hour minimum), OR Graduate from a Medical Assistant program without completion of a clinical externship but with a minimum one-year experience in clinical medical assisting within the past five years, OR Current Professionally Recognized Medical Assistant Certification with a minimum of one year of experience in clinical medical assisting, OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), OR Licensed Paramedic/Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with at least one-year clinical experience in a clinical medical setting within the past five years, OR Military trained medical personnel with at least one-year clinical experience in a clinical medical setting within the past five years.
- Current BLS-C upon hire or successful completion by the end of orientation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.
- EPIC (Electronic Medical Record) experience.
