Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for preventative maintenance and assisting in the repairs of mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems to ensure the safety and dependability of the equipment and facility. The Maintenance Technician I have basic technical knowledge with an eagerness to learn.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs routine preventative maintenance on production equipment and facilities. Records maintenance and repairs within CMMS system.
- Assists in the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of equipment.
- Maintains appropriate inventory of maintenance spare parts and supplies.
- Maintains lock-out-tag-out and SDS information for maintenance department under the direction of the Maintenance Manager; provides workplace safety and security.
- Assists in developing and implementing maintenance procedures and techniques for safe, reliable, and efficient operation of equipment and facilities.
Required Skills:

- Basic understanding of mechanical systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and agricultural experience.
- 1+ years of experience in related field.
Certificates and Licenses:
- Valid driver’s license
