The Technical Product Trainer plays a vital role within our team. This role bridges the gap between our cutting-edge R&D engineering teams and the end-users of our products. You will be responsible for designing and delivering world-class technical training programs, training customers and staff, and maintaining accurate documentation.
What you will do
As a Technical Engagement Specialist, you are expected to:
- Master the technical complexities of Advanced Navigation’s hardware and software ecosystems.
- Design, develop, and deliver engaging training curriculum for international clients, distributors, and internal teams.
- Own and elevate the quality, clarity, and accuracy of documentation.
- Act as a key interface between R&D, Product Management, Customer Support, and Sales.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Curriculum Development: Design, build, and maintain comprehensive technical training frameworks, including syllabi, slide decks, hands-on lab exercises, assessments, and e-learning modules.
- Global Delivery: Deliver technical training sessions via face-to-face workshops, live webinars, and self-paced digital learning management systems (LMS).
- Field Training: Lead practical, hands-on technical training sessions, which may occasionally involve field testing or deploying navigation hardware in real-world environments (e.g., maritime or vehicle integrations).
- Documentation: Contribute to user manuals, online knowledge base pages, and hardware integration guides.
- Feedback Loops: Actively collect post-training evaluations and analyze customer support tickets to identify gaps in user knowledge and documentation.

Qualifications & experience
- Experience: Experience working with hardware devices as a Technical or Product Trainer
- Technical Literacy: Exceptional ability to read, interpret, and explain technical engineering concepts (e.g., basic networking protocols, hardware interfaces, APIs, serial communication).
- Tools: Experience with writing documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, GitBook, Markdown, Adobe Creative Suite) and e-learning creation software.
Preferred criteria
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Communications, Education, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Basic familiarity with programming languages to accurately document APIs and configuration interfaces.
- Inertial Navigation Systems: Any prior exposure to Inertial Navigation Systems (INS), GPS/GNSS technology, or robotics is highly advantageous.
- Travel Availability: Open to occasional domestic and international travel to deliver on-site training workshops for enterprise clients.
