About the role

We’re hiring a Patient Care Coordinator to join our Avelure team in St. Louis, Missouri. The Patient Care Coordinator is often the first and last impression a patient has of our clinic. This role is responsible for creating a warm, professional, and positive experience while supporting consultations, scheduling, follow-up, patient education, rebooking, memberships, and daily clinic operations.

This role is ideal for someone who is friendly, organized, confident communicating with patients, and excited to work in aesthetics, skincare, med spa services, and patient care.

Compensation

This position offers competitive hourly compensation based on experience.

What you’ll do

  • Welcome patients and create a polished, friendly, and high-touch experience.
  • Respond to patient inquiries, leads, phone calls, texts, and emails in a timely and professional manner.
  • Schedule appointments, coordinate provider calendars, and support smooth daily patient flow.
  • Manage patient check-in, checkout, payments, rebooking, and follow-up communication.
  • Educate patients on services, treatments, memberships, promotions, financing options, and retail products.
  • Support consultations by helping patients feel informed, prepared, and cared for.
  • Help drive patient retention through rebooking, follow-up, and relationship-building.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, appointment notes, CRM updates, and administrative documentation.
  • Partner with providers and teammates to support clinic goals and an exceptional patient experience.
  • Follow HIPAA, confidentiality, safety, and company policies at all times.

What we’re looking for

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in aesthetics, med spa, cosmetic dermatology, wellness, healthcare, hospitality, sales, or customer service preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, multitasking, and follow-through skills.
  • Warm, professional, and patient-focused approach.
  • Confidence discussing services, memberships, promotions, financing, and retail products.
  • Ability to build trust quickly and create a welcoming experience for patients.
  • Comfort using scheduling systems, phones, computers, CRM tools, and patient management platforms.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Dependable, punctual, team-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest in aesthetics, skincare, wellness, and continued learning.

Work environment

This is a patient-facing role in a medical aesthetics practice. The position includes front-desk, administrative, sales-support, and patient-care coordination responsibilities. The role requires frequent communication with patients and team members, use of phones and computers, and periods of sitting, standing, and moving throughout the clinic.

Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals with disabilities.
